Settings Not Saving

If your changes in admin are not saving your settings file is not writable. Go to your hosting panel and change the permission for the includes/settings.php file and/or the memsettings.php file to fix the problem. The memsettings.php file is only for the member manager settings page in admin, the settings.php file is for all over settings.

If you are new these files are in the file manager in cpanel, you just open the folders on the left under public_html, then open the file named includes, in this file click once on the settings.php file then change permission from 644 to 666 and the file can then be written to from your admin panel.
