SDR 4 is coming

With a lot of consideration and input from our clients, we are not going to move to a new base, but continue with the SDR Aurora series.   For all of those that have provided input into this decision, thanks, your comments and praise about our work was greatly appreciated.

The SDR 4 will take several months to complete, but definitively will have the shopping cart  built to this script, major updates in the security, and a much improved members area and several new addons.

Well, the SDR "premium"  was going to be a new script on a new base. However, with the overwhelming comments that have come from our clients we have decided to not move to a new base but to continue with the SDR Aurora project. There will be no per say SDR premium, just a continuous effort to improve and enhance the SDR Aurora script.

Now as for the SDR 4 as of right now this will be the primary focus:

1) Security, and you will start to see several of these new improvements posted in the Security Fix sub board. We are not going to hoard this info, but release it where it is easy for an owner to upgrade their own scripts with the new files or mods necessary to accomplish this. The initial focus of this effort will be to stop sql injections.

2) Adding the Shopping Cart. We have one already, but I am not happy with how it works and its does not currently have everything in it to function properly with the SDR Auroras. 

3) Updating the members side of the script so that its up to date and follows with more recent script uses.

4) The addons we have not made a full list, but already I am looking at the following:

    a) Stepped payouts
    b) Daily Task Manager
    c) Allow only certain countries to join and log into the site
    d) and we are going to try real hard to get this to work, but an integrated app for facebook that will show the members earnings and referral link, and if possible a text ad from the site. Now, while the coding for this is not to hard, I have to double check with facebook to make sure this will not violate their terms.

Now, I am sure there will be more addons added, but just have not been added to the list yet.

Yes, the SDR 4 will be built from the SDR 3, so all the features in the SDR 3 will be included. But, we are looking at a 4 to 6 months time line as we are going to be completely redoing the entire members side with new click verification methods and a new encrypted key system.

Well, the main point of this thread is to reassure the large number of our clients that have been pushing for us to continue with the SDR Aurora project and not move on to a new base script.  And with this announcement, we are pledging to our clients that we will continue to work to enhance and improve the SDR Aurora script.

i hope we could be able to upgrade without compromising currently installed mods...

some admin hesitate of upgrading due to this, some add ons are expensive and such a loss if it will just be gone when script upgrade is done

Most mods can be protected, IF WE KNOW ABOUT THEM.

yeah... and just want to add yours, this feature should be enabled / disabled within admin panel.
mm just thinking, as time goes by.. sdr features seem gradually become 'bux' features.. but IMO, I prefer unique features compared by just to follow other features, but once again, it depends on market and trends

Well I agree that in the last update we added a lot of features that were from other scripts, but those were being requested by a lot of our clients. But now its time to move on beyond that in the SDR 4, which will still technically be an aurora, but on technically LOL
