Sometimes people forget their admin password or get hacked and the password gets changed. This thread will show you how to change your admin password.

First you will want to go into your cpanel and go the the phpmyadmin as shown below:

Once you are there it will take you to a screen that looks like this:

What you want to do is hit the name of your database. If you do not know, its listed in your config.php file as (the database name is in bold):

$DBDatabase   = "heavenly_aurorasdr";

Once you have hit your database, you will see this page and want to hit the user table as shown below:

This will bring up the files in that table, now if you can see your admin account on that first screen, just hit the little pencil next to the account name and it will bring up that file, if not you will want to do a search as seen below:

Once you call up the search, this screen will appear and all you need to do is type in the user name you use for your admin account and press enter as seen below:

This brings up the admin file you were searching for.  Hit the little pencil as seen below and it will let you modify any of the settings:

The screen shown below is the edit page and here you can add the code for your password. We are going to list the code for the password "admin"  so you can get back in. Once you are in, YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD.  Also, check to ensure that its your email that is listed in the account.

Code for password "admin" =  21232f297a57a5a743894a0e4a801fc3

Well this would not do anything to your cpanel password and I have been teaching this to admins for 2 years without a problem.  First I would contact you host to get a new password, then I would check to see if anyone else has been in your cpanel, check the ip listing.

Than once you are back into your cpanel, just do it again, looks like you did something incorrect.

New SDR Purchase - Upon the SDR script being loaded onto my server, I was able to access the admin screen via the default setting and from there I change my password but did not receive the return email with the new activation code. When i tried to log in, I was shut out of the system

I dont have the cpanels in your support tutorial which has access to the mysql to obtain the password. Is there another-way of getting access

When you change password directly from the admin panel, you need to remember it.  Grin

Can you get into your cpanel? If yes, then read the first post.
If you need help, pm me.

Hello Support Team

My site was probably hacked. All data are dated 3 months, can not access the admin.
I tried to perform the procedures of your post, but I can not login there:
# 1045 Can not log in to the MySQL server

Seems to me that I have to leave my site, because after that I will not want to invest another dime.
Hugs and
Thank you all.

Hello friends,

I was able to log on via a password adm much earlier, so I would appreciate the time and space.

I can not understand how the site came back in 3 months time!
I missed the new template (about a month or so I had changed), over 120 new members ... Finally, I think I'll stop now.
Again thank you for your attention
Cheers

Sounds like if it came back with a 3 months old info, that it was restored using an old backup.

Okay log into your cPanel > PHPMyAdmin

Select your DB

Find the table - Users and select it

Find your admin user and click edit (the pencil symbol)

Scrolll until you see the line: verified

In the box on the right type a 1

And click go/save
