How to check for all the admin accounts on your site

If you have a site its a good idea, esp when you first get it to check to see what the admin accounts are. This thread will show you how to find them.

First you will want to go to the admins member mangers by hitting the link shown below:



Now you will want to do a search of all members for permission 7 accesses as show below:



This will give you a list of all accounts that have permission 7 or admin access. And from there you can verify that they are your account/accounts or not.

This is very important when you first buy a site to ensure that the old owner did not leave any unknown admin accounts in the site.

JT, do you have plan to add some admin panel management and privilege for some admin users, regarding the permission level?

for example there are 3 registered admins, the two are co-admins, which given privilege by Main Admin to manage ads, user / member management and site / cheat analysis. The main admin cover whole management.

Thats sound a great, but I think it will consume more time and energy..
maybe it just intended for special / big site which have more than 1 admins.

No we will not be adding separate admin permissions in the current aurora base. However, in the new Aurora Polaris that we are developing it will be there. The new aurora should be out somewhere in early to mid 2011.

Thank you very much. I found and old admin account from the former owner
and changed the email address to mine. The day after they tried to hack this
account 107 times proving they were using it behind my back before I changed the emaill
address.

  I also found a username that did not exist in the database that had supposedly bought a Lifetime Membership for $100 with about 20 Paid to Click ads.  I found the actual Username used on almost
all of his referrals for PTC and found FirstClickers. I Googled that and found someone by the name of
Marius Noroc on Facebook:  http://www.facebook.com/mariusnoroc  who owns the website http://www.Meckas.com  .  This is obviously a fraudulent account established to deceive so beware of this individual.
